FP&A - Systems & Application Developer at Brakes Group

Brakes Group Limited Brakes Group, considered a leading supplier to the foodservice sector in the UK, Ireland, France and Sweden with an annual turnover in excess of £2bn.

 

The FP&A team are responsible for monitoring and understanding the financial performance of the Group and providing ad-hoc financial, commercial analysis and presentations to the CEO, CFO, other Board members and the external private equity owners

 

  • Provide key stakeholders with guidance relating to system & information managementManaging team of two responsible for producing key daily and weekly reports

 

  • Support FP&A team of five with the preparation and co-ordination of monthly reporting Support FP&A team with analysis, and interpretation of KPI reports produced within the Group as well as preparation and tracking of other Group-wide analysis incorporating financial and non-financial data.

Woodward Food Service Limited (Acquired by Brakes Group Ltd) is one of the key players in the British Food Catering Industry, delivering to caterers since 1957.

 

  • Designed and Developed Reporting Database and Menu System that powers over 300 Excel Reports across marketing, sales, finance departments and subsequently enhanced monthly deadlines, reporting accuracy and reduced admin time.
     

  • Provide support to Financial Controller, Sales Director, Head of Telesales to make recommendations to support achievement of both business strategy and operations
     

  • Provide detailed analysis of each sites profit/loss, it’s deviation against forecast and plan whilst maintaining a clear understanding of the business drivers
     

  • Work with Site Strategy to understand the plans in place to deliver against plan/forecast
     

  • Advise Department managers on training and best approach methods when using SAP and Office Applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
